Posture treats PIVD

A young 28 yrs old dynamic marketing professional  with little overweight, suddenly had to see an ortho expert for his severe low back pain  which resulted according to him while lifting his laptop bag. After examining him and confirming it by a MRI a protrusion at L5S1 level and L4-5 was noted which was pressing the thecal sac.He was advised Home based Physiotherapy.
On my first observation  he was found to be  in great pain and great amount of listing when he stood up from bed, which was making him look like as if  his upper half of body is going to the right, and when attempting to correct it ,it was reproducing pain. After third of Physiotherapy session  his pain is almost disappeared.Listing (swaying of body did take little more time to go away).
The key to the treatment was not alone the Physiotherapy modalities but most importantly patient's ability to maintain calmness and keenness to follow instruction to keep the intradiscal pressure(IDP) low by means of  avoiding various detrimental postures while in lying ,lying to sitting up sit to stand and again stand to sit
.
Now after 10 days he does not have any list no pain except while getting up after siting for sometime as in his lunch. He has been made aware of all postures which increases the IDP again and again.

Author himself had such episode four years back and is equally well as any other ordinary sports person
